I shot this guy on public tonight. 12 points for us! I misjudged him because he came out fast at last light but it is what it is. At least the angle makes him look bigger last night on the private piece, I had a giant sneak up behind me downwind. I swung around and when I saw him he was at 40yds staring into my soul. He didn’t want t to be on the wall anyways.
Maybe that buck wasn’t your goal but that is a nicely shaped rack, good work!

I can’t wait for this whole relocation for work is done! I’d love to just go walk in the woods for my own sanity!!

Last NY ML hunt for me. Back at the orchard where I shot my scoring doe Saturday. My uncle keeps seeing a 7-8 point here every morning on his camera. Fingers crossed. IMG_0560.jpeg

Long night. Killed my biggest ever, but unfortunately I completely forgot to take a pic with me, the saddle and the deer... I just took a couple pics and then took my stuff to the truck and waited on my help to show up.

I use it with the beast stand as a harness when I get tired of sitting in the saddle. I sit on the seat lol

Guys I hate to say it but my season is starting out like the last two. Had a nice 8 at 12 steps with no shot Friday morning. Not a great scoring deer but fully mature. Saturday morning, Had the best buck I have seen from a tree at my buddy's farm at 30 with no shot. Upper 30's maybe 140 type deer. The does he was pushing came by in the wide open at 20 but they veered just a bit as they got to me and he cut the angle which kept him a bit wider than I wanted but more importantly in some crap I couldnt shoot through. Saw 13-14 deer from the tree and the only deer in range and open were the 2 does and a spike that came by 3 different times. Saw 3 other young bucks too. Leaving for Kansas after work Wednesday. Hope the monkey I have been carrying stays home.

You’re clearly in the right spots, and the rut is just heating up in the north, sure to cook later yet in your home area. Keep at it and have fun. See what Kansas offers

I don't mind baby sitting your deer here in AR while you're in KS, just send me a pin lol.

I went and pulled cams Saturday and moved some others around, hopefully in the next week or 2 I'll have some more good bucks found to hunt. Got a buddy that has asked me to come shoot some doe's at his lease, so I'll do that sometime in the next couple weeks.
