I went and pulled cams Saturday and moved some others around, hopefully in the next week or 2 I'll have some more good bucks found to hunt. Got a buddy that has asked me to come shoot some doe's at his lease, so I'll do that sometime in the next couple weeks.

I havent been south in months. I could put you on some deer out on the mountain area but nothing you would want to kill unless the one came back after the thinning crew blew up the cutover he was living in. Need to go check that cam when I get back.

Yeah that 17 points would help alot lol. Oh well, I forgot all about having saddle in there, had other stuff on my mind lol

It's been slow down south, i just got in the right spot he was feeding. You know we'll as I do the next month it'll get right.

Thats a fact. Hopefully it will cool down some by then too. I have had 2 mature bucks in bow range and one just out of range, 55-60 yards. Hard to be too upset about that but what I need is for people to stop saying "good luck" before I go hunt. Just jinxin the crap outta me. Bout to start tellin em to take it back. Without question the 100% most accurate predictor of a hunt is if someone tells me GL right before a hunt. I aint fixin to kill a thing, might as well not even take a weapon. Why folks cant say have a good hunt, shoot straight, aim small, kill his azz, anything at all besides GL is beyond me. Only time I ever tell someone GL is if I dont want them to kill. Ok, superstition rant over, maybe.

I didnt. Unfortunately we had to hunt out of a redneck blind to have any chance on the deer I was hunting. Crazy difficult spot to access clean and then not get busted once in. So unfortunately we are up to 33 unusable points.

I needed that "hope you miss" to break the streak of shooters in range with no shot. Much appreciated.

Not sure where you are heading but if you’re taking 44 between Waynesville and Rolla the roads were closed due to flooding last night on my way home from STL back to Arkansas. Had to detour what seemed forever to get back to interstate.

My girlfriend lives off of 44 and her neighborhood, which is normally dry, looked like a river was running through it.
 
Failed to connect in MO. Saw 5 bucks from a tree, 3 in bow range but none legal. Well one may have been legal but it was at first light and I could not tell for sure if he had 4 on the side he had left, other side broke of just above the base. Passed a doe thinking there was a buck behind her and passed a little one because I didnt want to mess with a 40-50 pounder where I was.
