Sorry I’m late to the party Gentlemen. I just got back from my Colorado Elk hunting trip. Wasn’t successful but was in the game every single day having bulls anywhere from 25 to 50yds everyday. Luck just wasn’t on my side. Either something covered the vitals for no shot or the wind swirled at the last moment. But anyways Good Luck to everybody and LETS GO TEAM 9!!!

Also, if I may make a suggestion... snap a quick picture of yourself EVERY time you're hunting/in a tree and post it here. It would be good to see everyone's setups and gather some stats. Let's document the successes and the frustrations. :D

Here’s my set from opening day.

Is this where you knocked down that monster?

Also, I like what you have going on with the end of your tether. Most folks tie a stopper or make an overhand and then run their carabiner back through the bight. Can you give us a close up of that the next time you're in a tree?

Yes Sir it is where I knocked down my 2020 buck. And yes I’ll get you a close up.

I run in there the bridge. My thought is that if anything fails it will 1st be the ascender. It’s just a square knot but it don’t look like I dressed it very well.
