Team 9 Thread

I have never seen an entire deer just in a cooler. That's funny. Good idea too for conserving your ice and cooling the deer.
Yeah buddy! Fits like a glove in a 124qt. cooler. Emptied my freezer's ice maker in the chest cavity.

I have never seen osso bucco before! Thanks for the recipe!

Boy I have to say this season has been tuff going....just finished a 3day dark-to-dark hunt in a large swamp here in Michigan. Fell in the water on my way in on third day...luckily I had socks in my back pack....I only saw one small yearling buck and one beaver. Going to take this week and spend sometime with my wife and get ready for our son coming home college. Ill be hunting back in Ohio for a few days nxt week for their gun opener....hoping my new 350 legend gets a crack at a good one....plenty of season remains gentlemen so ill be hunting right threw the end of the deer season

I am really interested in the 350 legend. How do you like yours?

I bought the Winchester XP 350 legend...its a great gun for the money and I'd have to say very accurate to say the least...it shot MOA .5 - 3 SHOT GROUP. So I'm very pleased with it...also i put a Leopold VX-Freedom scope on it...use only 150 gr Winchester XP ammo which is designed for the elevation turrett. You can reach out to 250-yrds and for a shotgun zone area is a no brainer....can't begin to tell you how many more deer I would have shot if I would have this for my zone thru the years...I recommend

I was interested in it for the lighter recoil. My 7mm mag kicks like a mule.

I just picked up a Thompson center rifle in 350 with a vx freedom scope. Great minds think a like. Wish I would have purchased one earlier. So far it has proven to be a real shooter.

That's awesome...this is the first gun out of the box I ever purchased that didn't need work to shoot good groups...

Happy belated Thanksgiving Niners. @Bama_Xander your culinary creations look amazing

Thanks! I have been cooking since I was 12 yrs old. I stated from a purely practical reason. Mom cooked while me and my two sisters had to clean up after supper. I hated doing dishes so I asked mom if we could trade jobs. She obliged. So I learned and by 13 yrs old I would cook the full dinner by myself so I didn’t have to clean up. I feel in love with cooking and began watching the food network. I loved watching Emeril Lagasse and the original Iron Chef as well as many others. I considered even being a chef as my profession. It was about 5 yrs ago when I discovered Meat Eater and others that I really stepped up my wild game cooking game. It used to be bacon, cream cheese and jalapeños on everything.
