TEAM LAST CHANCE

Last Saturday I had an encounter with an absolute smasher of what I think was an 11pt. I was more fixated on finding a shooting lane because it was a run and gun hunt so the counting was not my priority lol. He came in to 34 yards chasing a doe at the end of that run he had the option of going left and meeting Mr.Easton or going right to pass on his seed. Unfortunately he went right wich was cool because I got to watch some pre breeding rituals and honestly learned a lot. All in all I watched this deer for about an hour from 100 yards in. We’ll all week I kicked myself for not trying to thread the needle at 34 yards when I was at full draw for what seemed like an hour. So tonight and tomorrow we have the same winds and cooler temps so I went back in. They Deffinately frequent in there hardcore. And sitting in my tree I looked at where that buck was standing and man am I glad I came to the conclusion that I’m no Robin Hood and that releasing that arrow was going to be bad. So now my tree is set and ready for an all day sit tomorrow in that bowl. Good thermals in there and it’s pinched in by 3 houses a swamp and a gravel pit so hoping to get us back up that scoreboard tomorrow!!!

Good luck!

We found him! Shot was further back than I initially thought, only ended up going 150 yards. Pretty good buck for our area too!

If you got him from the saddle as it appears, don't forget to submit to:

No matter what, enjoy.

Last night ended up with 7 does squar under me. They came in at my 12 o clock and lingered directly under me forever finally one big girl stepped into a shooting lane and I learned how easy it is to get picked off with 7 sets of eyes around you lol they took off to about 40 yards and lingered, finally right at last light 2 stepped into a weak side lane at about 35 yards. I let one fly and clipped a branch. Getting back in there now hoping to get it done! Can’t believe 7 deer all yarded up this time of year are going to go anywhere
