Whould it be dangerous for me to use a fixed amsteel bridge with the lineman loops on the ambush lite. Thanks

I'm not saying that you could or couldn't, but when I had one of the new trophy lines I put a temporary Bridge using the lineman loops and it was way more comfortable and convenient. Seems safe enough to me but to each his own. I would have kept that saddle but I wanted to cut off the Bridge belt and leg loops and I just couldn't get myself to do that to a new saddle

Why do u think it's not safe. I was thinking if it's good enough to hold u if u fall climbing it should be good enough otherwise. Are they not load bearing.

A lineman's belt is a fall PREVENTION device, not a fall RESTRAINT device. The loops it is attached to should be treated as such, unless expressly written by the supplier of the saddle.

Assume they are not load bearing in ANY other case.

I assume things is metal on this saddle. Or is it?

This!

yes that is the only part of the saddle that makes noise when walking in
If you cinch the belt tight it makes zero noise. It was designed to be tightened for walk and climb then released for the bridge.

Think I'm going to add a rope bridge on mine. The short webbing bridge sucks has major hip pinch

I been using my loops with a pc. of Beeline I had left over for a bridge and agree it's more comfortable.
Still thinking of cutting off the bridge that came with it.
If the lineman's loops are designed to bear my leaning weight while I install my sticks, stand or ros then they likewise will bear my leaning weight while hunting.
Lineman loops don't come with instructions that say " only lean on loops two minutes maximum at a time or they will blow apart" that loop has to hold period at whatever lean you put in it for as long as needed.
They don't say don't lean more than 10* away from tree or your toast. They are sewn to hold you.

I am comfortable using mine. Everyone has to decide for themselves.

The loops work great for me I used 1/4 amsteel for my bridge and it’s like a completely different saddle! *at my own risk of course* D7D0352D-7418-4D15-AF2E-23FAF484030C.jpeg51A83B42-9C1A-48D5-8820-E7A44D5E16C7.jpegEA5A258D-170B-468C-AA8A-3F3EF2762D60.jpeg1D692445-154F-4D19-8708-F4CE547ECBB3.jpeg

I cut the factory bridge off after two hunts I hated it. First I replaced with amsteel but finally landed on climbing rope bridge. I've also added buckles to the leg straps and replaced the factory waist buckle. I would say overall it's 10x better this way.
