Season is over here. I found several trees during the season that I wanted to set up for next year. In the setup process, I was swinging away in the saddle determining how I would shoot to the different trails. Anyway, while I was doing this my tether was creaking at the slip knot while under tension. If you have ever been on a sailboat you'll know the sound. No danger but still was loud enough to notice. I have no doubt a buck would hear it on a calm day 15yds away. It happened to some degree in all 3 trees I set up. Solutions?
