Tethrd "1" stick VS Catalyst Carbon Pro

Have you had to superglue your phantom yet?

Testing will never catch everything and I don't think anyone expects relatively boutique, version 1.0 products to be perfect - however an honest effort should be made and defective products should be replaced. Also it would be good form to avoid claiming competing products are undertested and potentially unsafe while quietly shifting production to version 2.0.
Did they do that whole video just to tell you to use superglue on their saddle to fix a problem with it?

Well I ended up returning mine. I didn’t like the standoffs and foot space. Could be great sticks but they weren’t for me.

Well, it looks like there STILL isnt a stick worthy enough to cause me to replace my modified 1.6 lb a piece LW sticks with 25 years of hard use on them and ZERO issues that cost me $125 for the 4 pack.

Wonder if there will still be any of these $120 a piece Tethrd ONE sticks still in use 25 years from now?

I picked up 6 Catalyst Carbon Pros and I think they’re pretty awesome. Stand off is a little tight to the tree but very doable. Right at 1 pound each with Tethrd versa straps.

I can post a review or answer specific questions on the differences between these if anyone is still interested.

I have 5 20” step to step catalyst carbon pros and 6 one sticks. Both have aiders that work well.

Also, if the guy backs out on buying these carbon pros from me, they may be back on the market.

I have the one sticks, the only issue they fixed was the shorter pins for stacking, they still have limited foot room, and they are a bit noisy. Stealth strip does them well. I did add an aider (continuous amsteel loop through the bottom step). I had to do some filing on the sharp edges to keep it from cutting into my loop. I also like that you can leave them stacked on one side of the saddle and separate them as you climb. Coupled with a sling pack the only thing I set on the ground is my bow. Love running this set up. I also have a set of timber ninjas that I like as well, i have 4 of those, with the cable aider on all of them. I’ll pack those if I know I need to get way up there but I think I can get away with the tethered ones in most places I hunt. Three sticks, two of wich have an aider gets me 16 ft. The timer ninjas get me about 21.5.
