Tethrd One Climbing Sticks

I was told the other day that they had to “optimize” them so that the quality matched the price point... what that means, I have no idea

Oh boy. Worried now. :worried: Instead of making the best product and charging what they need to be profitable..... They are going to try to make the product fit within the profitability/price they want... That sounds like compromises incoming,, oof

Tethrd made a point to say VERY soon in multiple communication channels... Two months later I'm still hearing crickets. I'm starting to wonder what happened. Did the supply chain shipment get delayed? Could there be issues with the quality inspections after arrival here? Are there some other concerns after further testing or field experience? people here brought up some good points about the glue, roll pins, bendability if tube gets dented. Or is Tethrd just letting my mind stew and wander while they take their sweet time enjoying the rutmas out in the deer woods.
All of the above.

Well, it was a better answer than not high at all or over estimating heights. You don’t need to be 30 feet up a tree to kill deer.

I could be wrong and I'm only going from the pics but I seriously doubt they'd work for us size 14-15 boot guys
Again I'm going by the pics only but I doubt I'd get more than 3" if that much of the front of my boot on the step or essentially much more of the toe portion of my boots.
No way I'm getting enough of my extreme cold weather boots on a step to be able to safely climb
Great option for guys with normal sized feet though, us guys with sasquatch sized feet not so much I think.

That’s a given.... these won’t appeal to anyone wearing boots bigger than size 11 IMHO

I wear a size 9, but I feel many giants climbed up smaller sticks throughout the years, I don’t see why these won’t work like anything else. Don’t most of us angle our feet around the tree or lean back into the linesman with the arch of your foot on the edge of the step? I’m still curious about the roll pin in the center though... and quality control

Pretty sure E bikes are illegal on state owned Missouri ground?

I wear 12 wides. My hawk heliums are no issue. I do the penguin walk and put the step on my heels to insole area and angle my boot out around the tree and lean back into the belt.
