Tethrd pack

$350! I paid $65 for my bandit. I can add a predator pack if I want and many other than pouches and be well under 350. Say what you want about Aaron Synder but Kifaru has been building proven packs in the USA for a long time. Tethrd lost their damn mind.
No, people will buy it. Look, they are standing in line to buy third gen sticks to save 2lbs!
You going to spend your money on what floats your boat. Not a style of pack I would want, but it will work for a lot of guys and gals.

Just watched a Kifaru live post on Instagram where Aron Snyder made a reference to “that’s probably why Tethrd copied our pack”. Audio cut out just before so I didn’t get the full context of the statement but sounds like he feels they imitated their design.

I think a lot of proven designs get replicated then little changes added to make a product fit a certain niche. We see it with everything from packs, stands, guns, bows, ect.I don't see anything wrong with it. If the product is what people want it will sell,if not their is tons of options out there. As a consumer the more options the better.

Yeah, I agree. It’s different enough that I don’t think it’s an issue. Nothing wrong with driving innovation.

Yes the Bandit & Shape Charge married & had a FAS pack. Looks like a sweet pack.

I like Kifaru packs. I have one for my out west hunts. Great packs!

The Kifaru Shape Charge doesn’t have the side pockets configured like the Tethrd Fas Pack. This is one of the things that appealed to me enough to order one to try, especially for saddle hunting. Fas Pack has more Molle connections for more customizable pouch layouts. It appears the main body of the Fas Pack is a little smaller then the Shape Charge as well.

The main body of the FAS is indeed smaller. The side pocket layout is my favorite feature of the FAS. Holds all that stuff I need to get to quickly and easily with no fuss.

I agree. For example I think every bow company should start integrating sights, stabs, rest into their risers like Matthew’s has done.

The set pictured will work with Skeletors.

Of course they did. Everything they sell was designed by another company or by someone on here.

I think Hoyt did something with a picatinny sight first but was not as refined.
I won’t take the “Hoyt” bait….just kidding. I’ve seen that option in a couple bows. Makes a lot of sense IMO.

I love the look of the side pockets on the fas pack. If tehrd copied kifaru to build their pack than someone else should copy the fas side pockets on another pack and sell it for a third of the price. Then I’ll buy that one haha.

The pockets weren’t copied off Kifaru and they are handy.

Yeah....nope. I couldn't believe it, at the 7:31 mark in the video.....

“Nobody ever says what the problems are with their gear. Every gear manufacturer says ‘Oh, it’s the greatest thing since sliced bread; it’s perfect – it’s everything you could wish and dream for’ – when that’s never the case.“

Like Tethr’d has said what the problems are with their gear in the past….NOT.

They've made it easy on me. I don't even have to watch the video. This includes folks from MN and WI as well:

"Finally is the size. Since we wanted this to be a minimalist pack on the smaller side, those of you who live in extreme environments (think MN, WI, Upstate NY) might struggle to make this a truly 4-season pack. When temperatures are way low and you need to pack lots of big, bulky, layers, you might find this pack a little too small for that."

Lol, extreme environments. They should call this thing the "bluebird daypack"
