I’m a smaller guy and use the tethrd phantom. I have long tag ends on all of the straps for my saddle. Any suggestions for these? Should I just trim and sew them? Or is there another saddle that would fit me better? Thank you for any suggestions.

I have the same issue and never really thought about it as an issue until now… just another thing on the pre fall to do list!

I think I’m going to fold them over and see them. That way I can cut the stitches and resell it if I ever decide to. Or if I end up gaining tons of weight I won’t be out a saddle

Honestly, I use electrical tape on stuff like that. Roll it up and take it.

In years of using webbing, I have never found a functional webbing retainer that lasts long term. They always slip and stretch out and fall off. I took to taping stuff years ago. And plus, it prevents you from cutting the straps and keeps resale value high.

Used to do this in the military with straps. One suggestion - put your first layer on with the sticky side facing out, after one full wrap and it sticks to itself I flip it over and wrap the tape a few times. Keeps your gear from getting adhesive on it, and makes it easier to remove.
