Tethrd Phantom

Nah. I was just trying to lighten the mood a little.

Thanks the mood change it was getting squatched.

I hope Tethrd hits a home run with the phantom.
And New Tribes makes great saddles. And I am going to try an H2. Why ? Cause it is lighter than my flex or kestrel and more comfortable than the mantis. I hope the phantom is both light and comfortable. Why because I like Ernie and Greg.
No other reason.
My favourite saddle is still the JX 3.
My opinions on all these saddles. Nothing is perfect yet

Oh and I am trying a tree hopper recon sling. Why cause I am an old guy who can afford to be sucked into marketing hype. I can sell what I don’t want anyway. It is an interesting concept. And economical and comfortable and it is like an Anderson sling perfected
The Flex is bulky and comfortable and New Tribes Is replacing the flakey flex. Good customer service at New Tribes The kestrel is well made.
What more can I say. Um. Buy a Jx 3 for turkey season
Oh and I am not a pro for anyone. Maybe Squatch is??

I know man, there was what seemed to be a dark cloud floating around.
Thanks for the sunshine. I am sure the phantom will be a winner. I do believe the issues that I had with the mantis but not everyone had are being addressed. My issue. Comfort

I had the same. I genuinely wanted to like my Mantis, gave it an entire season, but as soon as my rear end hit a Kite, I knew the days of the Mantis were numbered for me. I will try out a Phantom, hope its a home run in the comfort department.

Anyone else guessing the release is going to be the 29th?

Considering it is a leap year, and we have that extra day, what better way to market the Phantom than to "Take the Leap into Saddle Hunting"

Made to order marketing IMO.

If I am right, what do I win? Lol

The meetups will be Tethrd centered and u know this

I don’t agree with this comment unless everyone in a particular meetup area owns a Tethrd saddle.

The meetup I am organizing in WI we will have H2, Aero, Tethrd, JX3, DIY, ...

You are correct that the Tethrd Teach-n-learn series will be Tethrd centric though

An excellent type of event. Everything available to try. This type of event is useful to new saddle hunters making choices Thanks for organizing it. Anyone in your area should attend.

The tethrd events are good too if you want to learn how to saddle hunt from very good hunters. However there will definitely be a bit of biased marketing which is their right and is to be expected. If I lived near a tethrd event I would definitely attend so I could trade my generation 1 platform for a gen 2 and because I want to sit in a phantom
They should have sent me a phantom to test since I did not like the mantis. How could I be biased.
Honestly I expect the phantom will be a great saddle but I do not know that for sure until I sit in it for 8 hours. Something you cannot do at these events.
