Tethrd Predator Bag and HYS strap now on the website

What about an H2O bladder? That’s the main reason I’m holding off.
I bought a 32oz nalgene bottle with a camo nalgene molle pouch on amazon. here are links to everything i bought. Not everything will be used probably but i bought a few different sizes to try and see what works best. The nalgene might clip to my saddle while im walking in and then i may take it off the saddle and clip onto the HYS strap right in front of me. i am not certain of how everything will work just yet. have to wait til i get everything in.

Dope...thanks man! I go through tons of water early season, and plenty still in late season. I appreciate the links!

no problem. yea you can look on there and find a bunch of other different kinds of pouches. its kinda cool how modular it can be. Yea its 90 degrees during our bow season and going 3 miles back into some public i need a ton of water too

My HYS strap was supposed to show up today... instead they sent me a %€~¥%€# recliner.

They replied quickly and all should be right with the world again. I run a little warm at times...

In my experience they go above and beyond to fix mistakes in a timely manner

Order it to be part of a molle system that I'm to try this year. Figured what do I go to loose. It's in transit and should arrive around mid week.

Wonder which member will be the first to post a through review write up or video.

I got my HYS and Predator pack today... pretty neat. Still trying to think of how to utilize the features of the pack. Top notch though

Hopefully people will start posting videos or descriptions on how they use it. I would love to use a minimalist pack but this may be too minimal. I’d like to see if someone can attach a climbing method to it besides bolts along with some other hunting basics and see how it performs.

Maybe I’m the first to share, but here’s my setup for those quick morning/evening hunts. Yes, predator is in the bag. Steps held on my nite ize through molle. Will replace shoulder strap at some point. All together weighs 13.5 lbs!!3BCDF5E3-9143-4650-AA32-4CCDD5F3B6A1.jpeg

Any chance you can move the bag from inside the steps and repost so we can see the attachment? Do you have an individual niteize for each step? How do you get them off as you climb if you only have 1?

I’ll get some pics in the morning. Really, just two nite ize through molle and twist. As for setting the steps, this summer I practiced and realized I only needed 3 to get to my usual hunting height. Pic showed 4 but that’s just to illustrate packability. I use knaider and swaider also. My process is...1) I take them all off, hang first step, then hook 2 remaining steps on first step. 2) Climb, then reach down to get 1 of the step, hang that. 3) Reach down and grab remaining step, and hook it on 2nd step that I just hung. 4) Finally climb and hang 3rd step. It is a little more time consuming and requires some yoga moves. By “hook” I mean sandwich the rope of the next step between the rope and tree of cammed step.

Just received my Tethrd pack, strap and the clips kit.

a. Super impressed by simplicity of ordering
b. super impressed by speed of shippping to Canada
c. Super impressed by packaging, especially the predator pack packaging, which will make a great reusable ziplock bag for many things.
d. The gear strap looks great, very simple, innovative yet practical and since I cant sew the strapping material, worth it.
e. Clips look good and I could get nothing similar from several sources here in Canada.
f. Pack looks very good, well built and fit.

The ONLY negative... I expected much better thicker shoulder straps, since I saw someone on a youtube video somewhere with thick straps AND, the cost justifies thicker shoulder straps....I will try to find that video again and acquire similar shoulder straps. I expect this pack will do much of what I need for most hunts until it gets colder and I need to carry more. Then it will be attached to a pack...

Well done tethrd. Hopefully you get thicker shoulder straps in the future on this bag. If anyone can find the video Imight have seen where thicker shoulder straps are added tothis pack.. please post it!

It’s on the hunting public you tube channel

I used to have to search high and low just to find cool things and make people spend money. Now I just make it. :)

Just a thought. You should add a layer of foam to the predator pack's construction. It could then double purposed as a knee pad. Just strap it to the tree in front of you.
If it had the foam sewn into it of course.
