Tethrd Skeletor Sticks

VERY interested
Does anyone know if attaching a cable aider to the bottom of the stick is possible?
I would want to attach a 20" cable aider to at least my first two bottom sticks .

I was thinking the same thing! Looks like you could but it might interfere with wrapping the rope around that part but not sure.

I use one from Dano on my bottom step. It uses a bolt. I'm hoping I can transfer it over.

I would not trust that thing on the bottom with an aider. But idk. If it’s a big grade 8 bolt in it there it would work

I ordered a set, but I don't plan on using them until I see lots of guys test them out with no issue. The chemical bonds failing on their top of line sticks has me worried about their "budget" version. Love the features in theory though.

What is the “chemical bond” issue with previous sticks?

I found the interesting tidbit was that he was able to bend one of the standoffs. He's a tall guy but not as heavy as some guys probably using the sticks. He attributes it to there being some slack in the rope.

Same here. Warning: requiring a specific stick setting procedure to avoid bending may result in online complaints. Seems there is a balance of stand-off bite and ease of use when setting any stick.

I’m also surprised he’s not seen many sticks stay on the tree with no attachment. Maybe PA doesn’t have many of those trees.

24” stowed and 2+lbs? Pass.

Yes, not the Skeletor.

The bent Skeletor standoff is in the video.

To be fair to that, folks have bent Beast, Shikar, OOAL Ultralight standoffs too.

I will be honest after hearing that part of the video I am a little worried about it. Maybe a chamfer on the standoff like a beast stick will help.

I have bent beast standoffs and bolts on Shikars.

Never bent an ultralight but am a little concerned they seem to put a 250lb Weight rating on them now.
