The bow

Oooh, you had to go there.
I love those old hoyts, defiant, Supreme.

When hoyt dropped everything for cam and a half I was in disbelief.
The command cam was their best selling cam of all time. Pretty sure..

I agree with going in that direction but not DXing everything else!

When the world jumped on the solo cam band wagon I ordered the Darton Maverick.
Cps system was better as time has shown, the fore runner of cam and a half followed by binary.

Long live Darton and all Rex's inovations!

2012 bowtech cpxl that I own but I’m waiting on my Athens vista 35. Don’t like anything shorter than 35” although I did have an Arena 34 for a short while. I just like a longer ata. Short bows just don’t do it for me.

I have an elite Enkore which is a beautiful bow but I just can’t get along with it and the hardware is junk. (Screws strip easily). I just got an APA BLACK Mamba and I love this bow. You can tune yokes and even change strings without a bow press. Light weight and shoots great. Use with or without limb stops.

My all time favorite is a Mathews DXT, light weight and smooth! I have two of them but currently hunt with a Mathews VXR 31.5 but it's heavy and harsh draw in comparison but shoots great and faster at a lower poundage than the DXT.

Matthew‘s HTR for me. I’ve owned a few new sense I bought it and all of them are gone except for the HTR

The no cams are interesting indeed.
My coworker has one and saiys he will never buy another bow.
How different are tge htx and the htr?

Not much different however the draw is a little smoother on the HTR because it is longer in my opinion

Love my Bowtech Realm SS on comfort with clutch High grip. Mathews HTR gets a nod from me as well. If I like it so much why don’t I still own it? I could never get a consistent grip with it but that’s a me issue not a bow issue.

V3 27" in 60#. The short ATA would be very handy in the saddle.

That said, I just shot my Torrex for the first time since October and was getting 2" groupings at 20y so I guess I can't complain too much.
