I'm sure they are working, testing to answer all the consumer complaints and input to make the newest greatest saddle on the market

Agree but do you think saddle hunters will “upgrade” in a mass?

I’m not talking about the gear heads on this forum, but the guy that just paid $200 for a saddle this season.

yes, if it answers consumer complaints! look how many have a kestrel then bought a kestrel flex. if they are on the fence about comfort and then hear how much more comfortable the new and improved model is.

I can say that it was @g2outdoors and his youtube videos that got my juices flowing and heavily interested in saddlehunting, prior to seeing him I can remember only one time seeing an ad for a tree sling many many years ago in a bowhunting mag and thought it ridiculous. So I give him and Tethrd the nod for bringing saddlehunting to the masses via social media.
The Mantis was the first I bought and soon to be the first I will sell, it just doesn't work well for me comfort wise. I love my Kestrel and Tactisaddle and bounce back and forth between them. Also plan to make a few of my own once the season ends, but only because I love tinkering and diy stuff. My current stable of saddles is enough for me and I wont buy any commercially made saddles going forward.(hope I don't have to eat those words)
And here we have all of you egotistical maniacs bickering who started the saddlehunting craze and which was the first blah blah blah like it really makes a difference what a fellow hunter on the internet opinion is. How about y'all get off the keyboard, get in your pet saddle, punch some arrows thru deer and upload some pics!

Never gonna make everyone happy and Comfort Is such an individual thing. I guess They can try and let the marketing machine tell the consumers what to think about it.

In terms of marketing?

Yes. The current explosion of saddle hunting interest is driven a ton by greg. And people moving en-masse from one tethrd product to another will likely be driven by greg - especially among "the masses".

Guys what you do not realize is the conversations about saddles we were having "back in the day." I had folks like ken1320 (I think was his handle), G2 and someone else I forget make some "projects" a long time ago. We were all talking a mesh minimalist saddle long before Aerohunter produced their first "hunting" saddle. And it began to gain ground as G2 came out with the sitdrag. Not everything is what is posted on this site - there were a ton of late night discussions talking about a minimalist saddle for years. The Kite was NOT the first mesh saddle I sat in since the trophyline saddles - not hardly. and if you go back you can find the original posts where we even discussed mesh saddles right here on SH - in fact I did a video where I made a modified seat for my hammock chair - check the dates for yourself.

And I do not fall inline with everything Tether'd - if you watch my videos I made mention of some of their ideas and products I choose not to use for various reasons.

So it's even less of a new idea?

That's funny, I though that a guy named "george" of e.z. hunter LLC came out with the sitdrag. Now you're enlightening us that Greg and the tethrd crew invented that too? At this rate I feel like tomorrow you're gonna claim tethrd invented the anderson sling too lol.

No but Tethrd will try there best to have the best saddle in all categories.

The cool thing about it to me is that TETHRD did exactly what all the rest of us wish we’d done. But at least we have smartphones so we can follow their success while we’re at our real jobs. Or heck we can follow their success from anywhere.

Perhaps you should have paid attention in 1-6th grade reading class. I did not say G2 invented the sitdrag - I said Greg was the one that brought it into saddle DIY hunting discussion. You appear to want to go there - I have a PM capability.
