The New, New Gear. 2025 Edition

Wish they would bring back fall foliage.

What's the price point? Asking for total curiously only because I want to compare with Hoyt's $2000+. Dang.....cost more then my first car. But then again I expected to be dead before I saw prices like UltraView arrows.
Usually they are around $1300, but considering the prices of everything I wouldn’t be surprised if they tacked on $100 this year

But the real question is... we will get the Phoenix fletching jig or not :tearsofjoy: sorry OMP probably just rolling with zingers
I’ve been running zingers this season and I’ve been impressed. Im not a big fan of fletching…so I’ll be ordering more this offseason.

Darton Baby!!! Glad to see them coming back with a force!! All you need is a draw board and even that you don’t need as long as you have buddy that can watch you draw to check the timing.
Darton is going to be a very popular bow brand. My bow shop is already pushing them and I'm gonna be first in line to get mine.

Don’t be shy. Show it all….

Has me wishing I waited one more year to get bow. Love my lift but being able to tune at home would be nice

I don’t think there’s another bow that checks all the boxes like Mathews does. Doesn’t mean it’s the bow for everyone but I think the only thing they are missing is a carbon bow.

Hoyt’s new hunting bows drop tomorrow. Might be losing a lot of money in their new carbon.

Bowtech is releasing a 34” bow to replace the SS34 and a budget bow. No bows in the magnesium material they did the honor in. Pretty disappointed. I hope that is just rumor. I was all set to fork over the dough for a new magnesium bow.
What’s this new Mathew’s all about they dropped on Monday?

Not in the market. I just really love reading your thoughts on gear.

I bought a title this year and I would have held out a year if I knew cam shimming was coming. I’m glad they are moving towards tunability. I hope their system works. Time will tell.

I have zero need for a carbon bow that weighs the same as an aluminum. Especially at a premium price.

I agree with your comments about the carbon bow - never has appealed to me.

My only point in making that comment is that I think the only thing another company does that they don’t is a carbon bow. They offer as much or more integration than any other company and they have a tubing system to rival bowtech

It’s the lift with a tuning system that is extremely similar to bowtechs. Time will tell if it works as good but on paper it should.

They redid something with the limbs to enhance durability, I haven’t seen a ton of details on what all that’s about. Obviously meant to address the issues they had with limbs on the lift, but I haven’t seen an explanation of what that is exactly.

They are now offering multiple grip options for the bows too.

They also dropped the Lift X RS which is 28” ATA, and has the ability to have lower draw weights than the lift 29/33. Meant to be their offering for women/kids I think.

Yep, the limb shift system is supposed to keep the cam in the middle and aligned. Only the mod side limb moves. One full turn on the adjustment screw is equal to a top hat. Kind of slick and should really help out guys at home.

I ordered the lift x 29.5 loved it. Was not a big fan of the new Hoyt’s. The draw cycle is stiffer than my VTM 34. They did make that back wall as solid as a limb stop which is pretty nice. The RX9 was noticeably louder than the Mathews and ax2 which I was surprised about.

This is a pretty good overview of the new Lift X and the grip options.

You pretty much have a lobster claw for a hand if you can’t find a grip you like for a Mathews. Between the Mathews options, uv, shrewd and a host of others, there has to be something that is comfortable.

Not super new and not sure if it’s in the 24 thread but Dialed out the Pruf site out.
