The New, New Gear. 2025 Edition

This shows the new elevate ultra x. If you skip to the 17:30 mark (especially at the 18:30 mark) and start watching the front end of that stand…the flex is real I was looking at those pretty hard but never mind

I think it might be the whole tree moving closer to 17:30. Are you concerned when he goes from sitting to standing around the 18:30? I would think all stands flex some when you put a whole adult on them 2' from the tree?

yeah it’s really when he’s on the edge. Just makes me a little nervous. Idk if the .5 moves that much. I’m still trying to figure out the way to go stand wise for hybrid hunting

I agree with @Horn. There’s often more flex than one perceives from platforms and stands. That said I think enkriss has been saying Elevate mills from thinner plate stock than the likes of LWCG and others. Maybe I have that wrong.

I think his kneeing into the seat pad is a bit misleading. It’s a 19” post, only 1” taller than the .5. But that’s significant for this usage application. You see in the video he only has one knee on the pad and his other knee is far below…so you gotta rest your foot on your other foot to raise up one knee to use the knee rest unless you are quite tall? Not ideal at all.

Yeah I noticed that as well. I’m not a tall man by any means. One inch makes a big difference apparently…. lol!

Because the old version didn’t cost enough, $1,100:

Yeah I’m scratching my head on this one too. That’s nothing compared to the almost $2000 ones that come out later this year. I love duck hunting here in Arkansas, but damn that’s wild for some waders. They are definitely working these for the rich crowd. 2k for some waders to kill 6 ducks lol. I’ll just keep rocking my $200 Roger’s waders, 6 decoys, and a jerk string and do just as well

so if you spend 2k on waders do your legs not get wet? Every set of waders I've ever had have gotten a hole in the crotch/legs within a few seasons. or does being broke make you feel warmer when your legs get wet anyway?
I usually just pee in mine to make myself warmer. But yes…people spending 2k on waders when at the end of the day…they are just waders. Most that are spending that kind of money on them A) hunt from a boat or B) hunt from a blind. Makes no sense especially when you have a dog.

I thought they were for adult parties.
