The No-Shame Thread

Not a shame post, but a piggyback on the current self defense thing.

I had a guy, in perfect seriousness, ask me what I thought about using a "sling bow" as self defense against jaguars in South America. Basically a little novelty we sold consisting of a slingshot, a whisker biscuit, and a modified pouch to nock an arrow on. I resisted the urge to say he could probably strangle himself with the band and it would be less painful than being mauled by an irate jaguar.

Was that the “bada** slingshot”? If so, what are your thoughts on it? I’ve thought about one for bow fishing.

I love listening to the song Something About A truck by Kip Moore. I dont know why, it literally have nothing in common with me and I cant relate to anything about it. But just something about it is addicting.

I remember driving home with my dad from camp one year, I don't even think I was 10 yet. He had an International Travelall in those days (for you youngsters think Suburban with three rows of seats). He sat his buck up in the rearmost seat so it was looking out the left side window and then he put his red wool hunting cap on it. Man did we get some strange looks . . . :tearsofjoy:

I’ll add one more

I have more vintage sewing machines than saddles and platforms combined, and have yet to thread inject my first saddle.

In my defense, I am taking this step by step and am fixing up my main 2 models before thread injecting anything. My goals are to learn sewing machine restoration and setup, then sewing saddles.

P.S. I am still absconding with my families overflow fries when I pick up fast food. No shame in that game!
