The No-Shame Thread

Just some other random opinion, I have an open shot style Summit, 15+ years old at this point, and I really don’t have many complaints about it.
I used that climber and it was nice. Not having the bar in front was awesome for bow hunting.

But I had too many occasions when I couldn’t find a tree a climber would work in so I decided to go all in for the saddle. I did sell it and kinda go back and forth on that decision.

Agree available trees and other things - like hiding on the back side of trees - is why Ive mixed it up in recent years but haven’t sold the ol girl.

Not to open a can of worms, just curious what you didn’t like about them and also what you like about the treewalker so much. Looks like they are not made anymore.

Could never get my molle shoulder and waist pads set up on it correctly. It rattled like a paint can when carrying it. Messing around with the seat to pack it was a total pain. Not as roomy or as comfortable as a Treewalker. Silly plastic foot holders for climbing get in the way of foot space and packing gear. And are easily broken.

Treewalker accommodates larger diameter trees, it sticks to the tree like none other. Treewalker is light weight and solid. It nests together great for packability. Super comfortable with the chill pad.

I just hardly ever use it anymore. It is big and cumbersome carrying it in the woods (what climbers aren’t).

Unfortunately, the owner of Treewalker came down with cancer and production was stopped.

I don't read too good, and have been laughing and crying for about 6 days over this thread. At this pace if all replies stopped I have about 18 more days of laughter and crying. I think at that point, my girlfriend, dog, family, friends and all the deer in Pure Michigan will have disowned me.

Please, continue.

I own 2 electric guitars that are each worth more than my car, and I haven't played either of them in 10+ years...but cant bring myself to sell them...

I have been building a lot of lego kits with my 5 yr old son and I am seriously considering buying a legit several thousand piece kit to build myself.
My 5 year old has just gotten into the old-school technic ones, they're fun and challenging for me even sometimes!

Buddy of mine sent me this earlier today.....

What ya got? I have been wanting to buy a striped series Frankie Guitar (Eddie Van Halen) but a kid on the way and first house, not to mention severe lack of skills, what am I thinking?

Glad we could provide some entertainment.

When I was a little kid (13ish) I was walking back one evening after bow hunting the land behind my house. As I’m walking, I hear footsteps that match my own the entire time (400 yards). Every time I stop, it stops. I walk and it walks. Get to the edge of a pasture and it’s a big coyote that was stalking me the whole way back. Ever since then I’ve been absolutely terrified of the dark. Have to walk with a headlamp ever since.

For electric guitars I have a solid rosewood george harrison fender telecaster and a Fender custom shop set neck telecaster-Dimarzio pickups, coil tap, 5 position switch, floyd rose tremolo setup... Both are extremely rare.
