I want to do the hammock thing but the inflatable pillow is working or REALLY well so far. Before that motorcycle trip, I read the trick is to not inflate it to the max. You want just enough air in there to raise your bones off the main sitting surface so there are no hot spots.

Not comfy to sit on, and it took two, but I modified a bucket today too…

my front cargo rack on the bike doubles As a ground chair. Cut an angle on two corners to clear the handle bars, turns out sitting on a milk crate at a less than 90* angle is way more comfy!

Kyler1945 is onto something.

I watched a video of a guy that cut the bottom out of a plastic milk crate then stacked it on and fastened it to another milk crate.
Then, added some back pack straps.

Light weight, holds a ton of stuff, good back ventilation.

You can flip it over and it is the perfect height for sitting.

I use it is flooded areas when duck hunting. Good to haul out your kill. Wash it out with a hose.

I carry my chainsaw gear in it. Fuel, oil, tools, safety gear, water and snacks. Again, makes a great chair and also a platform to work on the saw.

I’m thinking of using it for ground hunts this fall where the saddle won’t work. It’ll hold all my cold weather gear, easy.

Sorry I don’t have a better pic. But you get the idea.
I have two others. All black for hunting. The red makes it easier to see in the bush.

In case there's another huck it challenge this year, there's not one but two different bucket seat lids on camofire today. You're welcome.

As I recall from my last attempt at bear baiting, a 5-gallon bucket ratchet-straps pretty easily to an ALICE pack frame. I made load shelf out of plywood and zip ties or paracord or something and it carried pretty easily. Lots of ice fishing seat solutions out there. I think I saw one where a guy mounted boat swivel seat - with back rest - to a bucket. Might be a bit much to tote through the deer woods though.
