The official saddle hunting fanny pack /lumbar pack thread

Bought a sitka tool belt and I’m having issues making it work for me, how have you guys rigged that up? I’m running 4 beast full size and a predator

I took the sitka drawstring pouch off mine. Put the predator pack with upgraded straps on it. Use tethrd compression straps n mount sticks to pred pack or under tool belt.

Has anyone used an Elevation Emergent 1800 for a saddle pack…? Kind of interested in picking one up… still not happy with any packs I’ve tried… badlands monster, horn hunter g2, Cabela’s elite scout, no name Walmart molle pack.

Basically same as my monster…. Might try lighter sticks that pack better and a predator platform with platform pack on the monster and see how that is…..
I use a Monster and will def say it’s not as great as a pack like the Superday from Badlands.I have both a love both but use the Monster more. I don’t use sticks but have carried sticks and a platform with it and it wants to carry odd I will agree

In early to mid-season, it's my Monster. My WE stepp bag cinches underneath, & if I decide to use my platform (Predator XL) its case straps fit into the shoulder harness with no problems. Late season requires extra layers, so I either wear the stepp bag going in & cinch a dry bag underneath the Monster with my extra layers inside, or I go to a bigger pack.

Just got a Badlands Monster from Sgt. Beardface. I think I like it. Can get to some things W/O taking it off like a backpack. The open back pack style straps let your back breath unlike a back pack also. I'm going to go shoot a deer and I'll get back with you, either here or in the Classified Section.

Has anyone had both the Alps little bear and the Alps Pathfinder that could provide a comparison? I like the option of turning the pathfinder into a full size backpack. The little bear is a smidge cheaper though.

I am slowly working my way into a marsupial lumbar set-up, but I do feel like this one has potential to be a formidable budget setup for someone looking to develop a lumbar pack for hunting. Has molle/pals panels on belt, harness looks easily customizable, lots of organization. Pretty good buy at this price

I ordered one on Amazon and it seems very well built but decided that I wanted a longer MOLLE section on the belt so I sent back and and ordered the marsupial belt and small lumbar pack. Seems extremely well built, similar to kifaru stuff. Only got it out a few times before our season ended but like the ability to swap stuff around on the belt as needed. I took the molle pouches off my saddle (for one sticking rope, linemans, etc) and run it all on the belt, worked nice.

All that said I would agree that for the money that foxtrot pack was very nice
