Sladder Climbing Systems are now back in stock.
I did another orange rice run with it today took me half the time and the technique is easy once you figure it out. You don’t need stiff boots either. I climbed in my vivo bare foot boots with no issues.Man,
I liked the concept, but was very skeptical about putting it into practice.
I’m on an out of state hunt, and it’s all I’ve used. I haven’t needed to get high enough that I need to rappel.
In reality a two step aider on the JX3 top stick would get me as high as I’d need on 95% of my hunts. Right now I have a single step aider and haven’t even had to use it.
I don’t generally hunt places that require high sets.
It’s a mind numbingly simple way to get to 12-15’ and back down again, and fast.
I’m sure there’s holes in its game and I’ll let you know if I find em.
Consider me happy with the purchase.
Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. For those that figured out the technique... how long did it take? I've posted a number of videos showing how it's done so I'm wondering if they've helped and how much they may have helped.
Not long for me. It was a matter of adjusting the lineman’s belt so I have room to push out with my foot. My speed is improving each time and I am managing the belt easily as well. I did my 4th climb with it and first “real world” climb in the woods. I’m 2-3x faster than the first time.Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. The videos have been helpful. I just need to play with it more. I’m Focused more on hunting right now not on a new climbing method but I should just start using it while hunting.Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. I just rotated it in and sent it lol. Probably the first climbing method that I've switched to mid-season... I can't say that I've gotten any better, but I sure haven't gotten worse, and I have figured out some little things for ease of use the way I do it.The videos have been helpful. Here it is... Climbing and descending without a rappel line!
