Just purchased the trophy line ambush. I am finding the same thing as most people that have this saddle and that is the bridge sucks. Has anyone cut off the bridge and attached a bridge that is adjustable and made of Amsteel to the lineman loops? And is this comfortable?

I did and it makes a world of difference. So glad I did it.

If I'm not mistaken, the bridge is a directly connected to the body of the TL. Be aware that any stitching or modification is in a load bearing part, and should be done properly and thoroughly scrutinized

I cut mine off and replaced with amsteel and it was so much better.

I've since gone to the Covert and replaced that bridge with 1" tubular webbing.
