Things That Are Harder To Do In A Saddle

Thought about it.....pee ? Haven't had to from the saddle yet.

Pants pockets, that a good one.
Peeing out of my JX3 is a little tricky, basically I wrap around to the front of the tree so I can get everything out of the way and let fly.

For me it’s stay awake. :tearsofjoy:
In a stand I was always weary of falling asleep and falling off. In the saddle, I purposely lay my head on my forearms (across my bridge) and go to sleep….
Heck naw, I’m the exact opposite, can’t fall asleep in a saddle. There’s no way for me to sit completely supported. In a climber with a bar around you, you betcha.

You need a wide flat cushioned knee pad and a platform wide enough to keep your feet spread shoulder width apart....then you'll fall asleep!

Good thing he wasn't 25 feet up too. What is he saying...? it sounds like "my hook!". Might be "my butt!".
I think he said “parkour”
You can YouTube videos on that in your free time, I assume it’s dubbed over the original video, or he’s got some big balls and a good sense of humor.
Here’s one:

I'm with you. I'd snooze in my Summit Bushmaster but I was always afraid of pitching forward and out. In the saddle I have a custom adjusted pillow with that bridge right under my head and no where to fall to. Another reason to wear the boonie, the soft fabric brim adds padding. The snooze position doesn't work as well with a ball cap on.

I use my muffy as a pillow. Not super comfortable but it stays in place on the bridge.

Another one for sitting still. Still have yet to find the trick. One way or the other it’s like I just can’t get comfortable in some way or another enough to just not move like I can do in a hang on. Still haven’t given up though.

Naps in my Viper climber were the best. I'd tighten up my tether so it was tight when I sat and leaned forward a little and could snooze for hours. Just like in a saddle, there's nowhere to fall.

On warm November afternoons, I loved to head out about 11 after filling my belly with taters 'n eggs, and take a nap in the sun. Sometimes I even woke up and killed a deer.

I have napped in my Drey. It's a hammock, and with the top prussics you can get your neck angle just so. Got all nestled in, started reading my book, and woke up when I dropped my book.
