Thinking of future tweaks to my DIY saddle and DIY JX3

I plan on making another saddle or 2 and another jx3. The saddles I made are kestrel clones.

Bags for rope and storage that fit well and are compact are definitely tweaks I need to make.

I'm also thinking about implementing some attachable insulation for the cold days to keep my rear warm.

What else would you guys like to have or change with your saddles? I'd like to create a laundry list and choose things I didn't think of yet. I've been reading the forum and hopefully this thread can be a one stop shop for ideas.

Let's hear them!

Gonna take the amsteel whoopi sling bridge off after season and do something different there. Haven’t decided which route I’m gonna take yet. GOT to resize my fleece pouches. Way too big right now for the oplux tether and LB(think more streamline). Build another pouch for snips and saw. Gonna build a frame pack for the predator and 1 stick. We’ve still got almost 2 months of season left here though so I have some time to gather material.

I was thinking about adding an amsteel whoopie sling bridge. What don't you like about it? I came across the wraptor thread and now want to try that too

Nothing really. It’s on my clone so that’s the saddle I do the experimenting on. I just can’t help but try something different. It has a slight bump in it where the buries end but that doesn’t really bother me. I just have to tinker.
