For reference, I'm 6' tall and that feeder is a little higher than my waist.

Just a matter of time before the feeders on its side and empty. Amazing animals but not feeder friendly.

I've had good luck, they've only knocked it over once. I tied the top down so if it happened again it wouldnt fall off.

We dont have a spring season and we can't bait so I'm hoping to run into them munchin acorns in a few months.

Better to leave the top lid the entry point or else they rip the the whole motor off the bottom.....I have permission to hunt my grandma's farm in south florida and I have had 4 feeders completely destroyed.....I rigged the last 1 to were the top wasnt able to open and the motor was protected and they just ate a hole through the side of a plastic 55 gallon drum....I gave up on feeders on that property. Once the bears showed up I never got any more deer or hog pics on the trail cams I had set and as long as there was a feeder the bears weren't leaving.

My wife just slow cooked the ribs from the black bear I took last year and between those and the chipotle flavored brats I made earlier this year I said to my wife that I would be more than willing to give up hunting deer if I could shoot a bear each year. Keep the feeders right where they are and find a good tree closeby to ambush one when the season rolls around.

Thats the goal! Our archery season opens the second weekend of september so I'm pretty pumped
