Ok, I'm new to a lot of these knots and Daisy chains and OCBs and cam-cleats and..........

How 'bout the timber hitch ? It's REALLY SIMPLE !!!
I'm sure a bunch of yins already know about it but if you aren't familiar with it, check it out on YouTube from our own Boyne Bowhunter

I have the video saved and have watched it several times. :cool:
I've had issues with buckle straps and intend to try this method with my climbing sticks, as well as my platform, this week. I like to practice these new and/or different types of climbing methods, well before the season.

I use that knot more in regular everyday life than while saddlehunting....
Saddlers should know the timber and munter/monster munter hitches just as well as the figure 8 and prusik..... Especially if u rappel
