I got a set of these today and thought I would post my thoughts on the unboxing and first climb with them. I know some guys have been asking. First of all, I got the 20" sticks and these things are crazy light. The weight is true at 1.2lbs on the dot as advertised. While climbing I had them hanging from the sides of my yarak and barely noticed them. Very easy to set on the tree as I climbed with it being a featherweight. I did notice what seemed to be a slight flex as I stood on the bottom steps. I weigh 220. When I got down I checked them out and the stick itself is not flexing. The tolerance in the step groove where it attaches to the shaft is a little wide. So there is a slight side to side shift but not much. Also, the standoffs are super shallow. If you got big feet I don't think these may be for you. I have a size 10 and if my toes are touching the tree, my foot is about 1/3 of the way on the step. That being said the steps are super grippy. I popped the bottom cap off to look into the tube. The bolt locations are reinforced with 1/8 inch wall tubing. Stacking is awesome. They stack straight instead of at an angle and get somewhat snug without a strap. You will need a strap to really secure them but I don't see them making any noise. Overall I think I like them. I'm going to run them exclusively this season and if I remember I'll do another review in January.

An interesting stick for hunters carrying multiple sticks.
