Time to meet up and whack off some deer in TN! I want to "organize" a deer hunt for TN this year, somewhere with available camping, for whoever wants to show up and whack a couple deer! I'm currently thinking either South Cherokee the 18-21 of September (yes, it's open that early) or the Catoosa open hunt at the end of December. Who'd be interested? If you are interested, what say ye?

I’m always interested in hanging with other hunters and killing deer, but I need to be DARN sure I understand what you meant by “whacking off” before I commit to anything! I ain’t tryna show up to a deer camp with a bunch of weirdos wearing nothing but their saddles tickling their talleywackers… :dizzy:

Sounds fun. I’m in NW AL but I’ve got my TN license this year and would like to put it to good use. I can bring my Canoe to! Lol. Not sure how far away those spots are.

Have to work those dates in September, can't make that one. The Catoosa open hunt in December can be really cold, might make it rough for any tent campers that might show up. Open bow hunt at Catoosa is Oct.2 - 10, better temps for the hammock/tent folks. What ever you come up with I'll try an make it.
