Trad bow deals

Will it warf? I’ve been wondering if it would for a while now. What does the limb angle need to be?8DF69342-A045-41E5-8B09-7A537418A3AC.jpeg

Right on. Yall keep your eyes peeled for a cheap, warf-able lefthand, will you? I've got a... friend... that might be interested in one.
@Red Beard let me look this weekend might have a Rambo riser you can warf (LH)
I do have some limbs and risers that was made by highland archery out of MS years ago that can be repaired and made shootable again just need bolts and bezels Will get some pics up and these are RH

Great thread - I‘ll trade a “deal” on my 17” Riser for another 17” riser. Galaxy Salvo ILF. It’s in classifieds
looking to try different types.

I recently joined Rockslide, fighting the temptation to trade a safequeen for a higher end trad bow.
GO FOR IT!! You won’t be disappointed

Is it the wood riser or the mag riser. I want to say they used this riser for their recurves years ago. And if so I believe it can be

No idea what a "Rambo" riser is but I'm excited!

Here is a older list of warfable risers

Here is a short list of risers that are good Candidates;

Bear black bear (by far most popular) the rest are in no particular order...
Hoyt Gamegetter (old compound)
Hoyt rambo
Hoyt spectra
Ram hunter (hoyt/easton)
Hoyt Pro Vantage
Jennings Black Lightning,
Proline Typhoon,
Hoyt Gamegetter II (old compound)
Hoyt td3
Hoyt raider
Quinn Stallion (needs machine work to change the pocket angles)
Hoyt Tracker and variants.
Some of the old PSE risers (pockets must be milled to a friendly geometry)

It’s a wood riser I’ll snag it from my pa tonight and post pictures, is there measurements and angles to go off of?

I’ve got a couple sets of ILF limbs that I would let go pretty cheap. Both are shorts.

Hoyt FX carbon foam 46# on a 25” riser. One of the faster limbs Hoyt has ever made.

OMP Night Ridge 40# on a 17” riser. Matt black hunting limbs bought new last December.

Would let the combo go for $150 TYD.

Does it mention what the Hoyts would be on a “17?

Do you know about the PSE Fireflight? I still have mine.

It might be harder to warf you need to get angles in perfect. But it’s a better choice to do bolt on limbs instead because if it remember they had 2 steel marbles as the pivot point I would recommend doing a bolt on instead and that was a extremely thick riser to boot

Add roughly 5# to a 17” riser. Some can go more depending on angles on the riser. I had a 50# fx limbs that jumped up to to almost 70# on a riser I tried

I have a Reflex Nomad riser which was the same as the Hoyt Dorado. I’m going to look into it.

That nomad riser will make a great shooter. I can’t remember but some body either Lancaster or 3 rivers makes a conversion kit for the dorado. It’s been so long
