Trad bow deals

Hey @Red Beard I think @GCTerpfan said he has the same bow.

You guys can have matching bows when you shoot together! Oh wait, @GCTerpfan only hunts with his dad's bows.

But its a beauty, and look in good shape. I would consider buying it myself if l already didn't have 2-3 trad bows that is gathering dust.

I have the X-30 Super Necedah but, it is similar. The X30 is only 54" long, @Red Beard was just looking at it this past weekend when he was at the house. They are impressive bows for their time. My 54" long X-30 doesn't start to stack until the very end of my 30" draw. The string angle at 30" makes a clean release a little tricky though. That x-26 would make someone a good bow.

I would get a Sage or black hunter as a starter bow as a lot of the older bows can be tricky as you don’t know the history and unless you know how to straighten the limbs and hope they don’t delaminate as the glues of yester year are no where as good as today and while a lot of them are still going strong it’s still a crap shoot but hey that’s me and I don’t want to deter anyone from a classic bow but it’s sometimes better to check it out first hand

I have a red wing hunter and love it. I would say if you can get one in a comfortable draw weight for you you can't go wrong. Its a great, smooth drawing bow and points well for me. Mine has some dings and marks from use from whomever owned it previously but really smokes an arrow. As a matter of fact I may be selling soon as I am downsizing my collection and plan on only keeping my two main bows so keep an eye out in the classifieds soon.

Good luck. Also, I wouldn't hesitate to hunt with this bow and only selling off some bows as I Purchased a custome recurve that really fits me well and I shoot it better than any other bow I have so I feel I need to commit to it. one main bow and one back up.

Shucks Art. You could have saved us all and said that on the second post of this thread and I would've stopped spending evenings looking for cheap stickbows for folks :tearsofjoy:
