Trad bow deals

I had one of the original jc optimus risers in predator fall grey that I sold on here. It was a great riser and they’re reasonably priced.

In my view you’d serve yourself better by actually perusing the Trad bow forums classify sections.

Bows are personal and need to be matched to shooting style, draw weight, etc….

Not promoting other sites but you will get a better selection and feel for value at sites that are tailored for Trad bow hunting.
Some require a small fee to use others are free.

Just a thought, thanks.

After shooting my wf19 for a while now, I sold my Discovery because it felt like a toy. I think the Satori might feel similar to me. I’m trading a recurve for a 21” DAS riser. Looking forward to trying that riser out. I also have a 15” JCA Optimus 2.0 that suits longbow limbs really well and I like it. Still feels light and unsteady compared to the wf19.

Satori is good even the clone but since he is a lefty he is SOL on that You know what I like Josh. That VPA and DAS is s h I t z……
Art, are you saying that you do or don’t like the VPA or DAS?

Everything feels light and unsteady after shooting a 3 lb chunk of machined aluminum with weight concentrated at all the right places. The only thing that can keep up is something with a bunch of stabilizer weight.

Which is why everybody should try it.

No I love the DAS and VPA. Want to get a short 15” optimus lefty this winter. I like the metal risers a lot

Might as well go wheel bow then. Just kidding.

Not to jack the thread, but Is the optimus actually USA made? It looks like the exe scream/junxing riser?

Just curious because it’s one ILF riser I find myself looking at from time to time.

Jumping in late but...

A while back I had a Hoyt Buffalo Recurve. It took me a while to feeling the weight but it had a sweet grip and was hard to put down. One of the finest shooting bows I ever owned.
