Trad Bow rack

I want to build a free standing rack that will hold my recurve and longbow. Something like a hallway coat rack, but I want it to stand along a wall, not in a corner. :) I'll come up with something and post photos when I'm done.
I've been kicking around the idea of making a box or case for my trad bows. Something I can put in the back of the truck to bring to the range or whatever. I like the Lakewood products, but the ones I've seen are only for one or two bows. And they're way more than I'm interested in spending.

I don't have any trad bows yet but I do love to waste time planning theoretical things out in advance. Wondering if those broom holders that kinda click in and out (similar to a cam cleat) would work for bows.

Probably work just fine on the riser or grip section. You might be on to something.

Here are pics of the final product. I decided to use the shaker pegs like linked above but after I ordered them my wife found some cast iron antlers. Best part is the antlers are long enough to hang bows up to three deep. Lots of room for more bows in the future :)

Did you do anything to the antlers to eliminate any wear on the bow over time.
I am going to try something like this but with spare sheds and road kill antlers but worried about eventual wear.
Thanks

Did you ever finish the standing rack you mentioned? If so, please share a picture.
Thanks.

No, that could be a future issue though. I hang my bows from nails in my cabin when hunting and wrapped them in electrical tape for that reason. Maybe a couple wraps of clear packing tape would help and not be visible.
