Was just wondering for those of us that shoot trad bows, how do you hang your bow while waiting?

Heroclip, wrapped in vet tape, between string and limb. My longbow is 64” so my gear strap is set pretty high to hold the bow at the proper height.

Wensels sew a little pocket on one leg of their pants down near the knee. They stick the bottom limb tip in that pocket. But they still need to hold the bow handle. The pocket just takes the weight of the bow.
Just a wild ass thought...If you took a short cord with a tiny S hook and ran it from a loop in your coat to hook onto the bow (string??) could that be a hands free holder...the bottom limb in the pocket and the upper bow held/controlled with the S hook cord. Certainly wouldn't be a long-term, all-day bow holder but it might give you a break from holding the bow once in a while.
I've done something similar during cold weather when my hands were going numb. I'd rest the bottom limb tip on my boot and grab my bowstring with my hand thru the coat pocket to control the upper bow. I always thought some sort of a hook or binder clip on my upper body could latch onto the bowstring would save me from actually having to hold the string...just tuck the bottom limb in it's special pocket and clip the hook onto the upper section of the bowstring. Just thinking outside the box.

There are small screw in hooks that look like mini screw in steps that work well (private only)
This is my other option I like because of the steel coated hooks.

I have hung my bow from the stopper knot on the tag end of my tether, a Nite Eyes S hook that was clipped to my tether, and currently use a gear hanger similar to this one: https://bulkoutdoors.com/pine-ridge...1_ZtCuHPLDnc9UG8XeQFksH5May72NYwaAviNEALw_wcB

Using your tether Is the simplest but, the downside is that if you move, adjust your saddle, or slack your tether for any reason you have to worry about your bow falling.

I shoot an ILF which has holes in the riser. I use a gear tie in the top hole in the riser to make a loop. Then I can hang it from the loop just like a compound.

I took a ROS step, covered it in tape and hooked it to my gear strap. Then I hang my longbow from it.
