Not a real exciting story. I had 3 target bucks and 2 bucks (1 of them being the buck I killed) that were border line shooters. I watched this deer for an hr feeding on acorns that were starting to drop while a 5 pt buck was bedded directly below me. It was getting close to last light and I was trying to wait on one of the target bucks to make an appearance but they didn’t. So this buck finally gave me a slight quartering too shot at 17-18 yds. I didn’t see him fall but heard him. He only made it about 50-60 yds if that.
