First hunt with tree styx
This was my first time using them besides trying out one stick in the backyard and I must say I'm really disappointed. I'm really hoping it's was the tree "American beech" because they were really loud not only separating each one but even if you place the stick too hard against the tree it...www.archerytalk.com
Unfortunately most complaints on gear is usually tied to operator error.![]()

And that is PRECISELY my point with the Latitude SS sticks as well as the Tree Styx in the AT thread I cited...oprator error. But funny how that works, when the tables are turned. When someone is favorably disposed to a product and a bad review comes along, they pass it off as an outlier...the guy is a idiot or a crank. Out of the dozens or hundreds sold, a few are going to end up in the hands of people who don't follow the written directions or online video and then blame it on the product. So when a couple of posts bashing Latitude sticks show up in this discussion, I employ the same logic because I owned them for a couple years and had zero issues....just like hundreds of other satisfied owners. No matter what product or brand, there are going to be fanboys, satisfied customers and naysayers. So much depends upon where your money is invested and your personal experience...plus who you choose to believe.Unfortunately most complaints on gear is usually tied to operator err

The weight difference from the one sticks is maybe the smallest upgrade.I really want these things, but I keep telling myself that saving 1 pound over 4 sticks (compared to my Tethrd One sticks) and also some other slight advantages, isn't enough to justify it this season. The one thing though is falling on the Tree Styx steps probably won't be as bad as what happened to me 2 years ago. I slipped on an aider and went full force inner thigh to that gnarly hooked One stick step. I had a knot in the muscle for months. I never thought it would go away.
What are the Gen 2 sticks…… how are they different from Gen1?I have a set of Gen 2 treestyx and have zero plans on selling them.
