Treehopper Sling Review

I haven't seen much detail on the lineman's loops yet. How far back does the webbing used to create the loops extended and what type of stitching? In on picture, they looked somewhat superficial compared to others, but it was probably just the angle.
The molly loops become the lineman loops. The lineman loops are not just loops stitched onto the main webbing. The webbing that creates the mollies extends to create the lineman loops. There is also an additional layer of webbing that overlays the core of the lineman loops which gives it more rigidity, abrasion resistance and strength.

I liked the linesman loops on mine. Very similar to the mantis the way I remember.

Thinking of trying on of these saddles. Did the changes take place from the owner? What are guys changing on this saddle? Just the buckle? Thanks in advance!

I changed the buckle and the tri-glides that keep the belt in place. In the current iteration, the tri-glides are plastic, which to me defeats the purpose of webbing and metal buckle (as the plastic is an obvious weak link). A lot of folks are not worrying about it and even removing the belt and running an elastic cord mod. I'd never be relaxed without being attached to my saddle with a system that can take my full body weight (plus a bit more).

Where did you find the metal buckle to swap out the plastic?

1.75" mil spec flat webbing for buckle
One of these on both sides (do webbing same weave pattern as the webbing bridge so it traps itself)
or use a tri glide from sailrite which will be slimmer
then this for a buckle

This process is an expensive pain in the rear, and I'd never have bought this saddle in hindsight.
