Tried my hand at a DIY Shikar

The cleat is the Harken Cam-matic 150. Its a little pricey and there's others out there that may be less expensive but I've been using one on my modified Hawk for 2 years now and its been on countless other "passed by the wayside" DIY projects for over 4 years total usage and it has given me zero issues. Because of that I went with another one for this build.
Does the Harken 150 take #10 fasteners or something else? I have used schaefer cam cleats and your hardware looks larger than mine. Awesome stick by the way. I nerded out when you added cross section images.

Thanks. :tearsofjoy: Yep, the Harkin uses #10 fasteners. They may look larger since the stick is only 3/4 inch wide.

Once more question (I'm about to place a McMaster-Carr order to do this myself) what diameter rope is that on the stick 6mm? I have some 8mm laying around but am not thrilled to cross drill that big of a hole for the rope. Thank you.
Yes, I'm using 6mm Samson accessory cord.
