I am still working out the comfort and adjustments on my Trophyline Ambush. I am wondering if anyone has done any modifications to the webbed leg straps on their trophyline?
Thinking of adding adjustment buckles just to hold the saddle from ridding up.

Others will have more practical experience, but I’m not sure that the outcome will give you what you want. My mantis had the leg straps that could be tightened and it rode up way worse than the Ambush. Granted 1” webbing vs 2” tho. Also, the buckles are gonna add weight and noise.

Thanks for the input! I may just need more time getting familiar with it!

Did you find a way to keep the leg straps from riding up? Just started messing with mine tonight and they ride up pretty bad. Does tether height have anything to do with what the leg straps do?

OK I might have to try something like that. I see their Facebook post from Feb 17th talks about their leg straps being tight. Mine are really loose. Maybe the XL is too big for me?

mine was loose but when I sat in it it squished the hell outta my balls

Mine does the same, especially when I rotate out away from the tree for the leaning out shot, just rolls right in there. Last thing I want to do is let out a groan of pain while I’m trying to sink an arrow in a deer haha. I may have to do what you did to your leg straps.

I hooked that one up temporary until I get stuff to make a proper utilibridge. Though I haven’t sat in it enough to give an honest review, the little time I do have in it did work well. I’ll try to remember to post back here after some more shooting from it. Shed hunting takes up all my play time right now

Yeah that's what was happening to me. Emailed TL and Sean actually called me Friday night. Real nice guy. Said he would send me the L/M to try. I might have to try the bridge you tied. Thanks again guys for the responses. Trying to learn as much as possible.

So I ditched the webbing bridge, replaced the waist buckle with plastic clip and diy’d a utilibridge and man, this thing is like a whole new saddle and I’m loving it. Doesn’t make a sound and feels like it’s half the weight. With the bridge coming off the lineman’s loops it actually cups a lot better and the comfort def went up. Still on the fence about the leg straps. I feel like they complete the weight bearing loop if you will of the saddle which is why I’m hesitant but real happy after these mods, plus no nasty pinches yesterday so that’s a plus bc I was laying out all kinds of weird angles cutting limbs.

Never thought of a waist buckle. Great idea. I might have to try the bridge off the lineman loops. Im a little nervous about tieing my own just because I'm new to all this but I've been watching videos on it. Tons of great info and I really appreciate it!

so The buckle is a def game changer. Do the bridge yourself man, just keep the webbing bridge on and clips them both in but make your bridge shorter than the webbing one. That way you’ll feel the difference of the weight distribution but still have the safety net of the factory webbing bridge. That’s what I did for awhile before I cut it off but couldn’t be happier now. Got any questions hit me up, I’m new to this too and learning as I go from these seasoned saddle vets on here lol

I have a Trophyline where the leg loops and the waist belt has been cut off. I am going to add a waistbelt. I am not sure what to do with the webbing bridge. The Amsteel bridge looks good. I may do that but I would like to keep the webbing bridge till I am sure.

That’s what I did. Once I was sure I cut the webbing bridge off. I like it but it’s all shooter preference. The saddle feels half the size now which I like and more comfort IMO when weight is pulled from the lineman’s loops.
