Trophyline Ambush Lite

I kicked around getting suspenders so it was a "full body harness."
I had these exact ones on my greens. I actually liked them. the little plastic clips worked good, though I tied a little fishing line on the m to keep them from slipping through when rolling and packing/etc. Just figured it will help kill the step of tightening the brindge belt when comeing down and using the linemans.

The patent looks like it would include all these other saddles for what that's worth as it's pretty broad. I'm not a lawyer but:

I'm guessing they will settle but the small guys doing it from their garage are going to be shut down, (H2 comes to mind).
It is even more interesting to me that this patent was even granted since it is more or less a more elaborate version of the original Anderson patent and that so many other harness makers were out there for non hunting purposes before TL. Just shows how f'ed up our so called wonderful country and government really is. Common sense died in 1777 when the first lawyer got involved.

I didn't order the saddle, but did pick up a modular pouch and knee pads last night, order 1035. Just got my shipment notification. So far seems like a win for TL.

They are shipping fast! Is it bad that I am more excited about the knee pads? They look like they will be just right. I've been struggling to find some that don't make too much noise in the tree and are not high visibility colors.

I'm not. I have 4 saddles and I love the yarak so I didn't feel the need. I wouldn't mind getting my hands on their pouches though.

And Sherill could turn around and sue Trophyline. How could they even get a patent for a tree harness when the technology has been around for at least 100 years?

I'm thinking about canceling my Flex and ordering this....but the aero hunter seems like a better design. Watching the video @Nutterbuster posted, the TL saddle looks like a value though.

I have an order in for a flex as well but I figure with how slow things are going over there I can get the trophyline and try it out for a while and decide if I want to cancel with aero hunter.

Wife is going to kill me when I tell her I ordered another saddle.

Maybe not move it but start a new thread there.

I did the same thing

I got a pair when TL shipped my saddle, but I could not figure out how to keep them attached. So fishing line? I’ll try it

Thanks to Nutterbuster for letting me know.
Disappointed with TL as I was signed up for email alert.
Waiting to hear back on size I found from them.
In a size 35 waist and wear cold weather gear too.
Read to order!

Might have got sent to your spam or something. Mine did.

As far as size, I would say at 35" you'd be better off with a M/L. The aerohunter saddles run small in my mind, and the TL is a little roomy. How bulky is your cold weather gear?

But, they have a 30 day return/exchange period if you don't like the fit.
