I asked Tethrd via email for a refund because I cannot wait that long. I have all the gear except the saddle. I’m going on a trip and would love to take the saddle system along with me. Has anyone else cancelled their order with Tethrd? They have a great product but I can’t wait 6 weeks. I have not received a reply email from them as of yet. It’s been several hours.

It’s not that much different than what the others are doing. Look how long the wait was from the time they announced until they launched the site. The big difference is they aren’t holding your money hostage while it’s being produced. That’s great because everyone’s not on here wanting to know when their saddle will ship. It’s a good thing too with Chinese manufacturing it will come in large batches and there’s no telling how long it will take for them to get here.
 
I said I wasn’t going to order a saddle right now but just had to order one of the vintage pouches.

this will be my first saddle ever and I already have other saddles in mind I want to buy hahaha... but I’m not waiting 6-12 weeks for a product. In my line of business that wouldn’t cut...

I communicated with them. I asked will I have to wait? They told me that they have “plenty” in stock. So I cancelled my Tethrd order and they refunded me. But I have to wait until 11:59pm before that money posts to my PayPal. Then I’ll be ordering TL for sure!

I’m gonna bet you live close to their shipping headquarters if I had to guess! That’s what happens when I get things quickly from some companies, then I look up address and I could have just driven to there warehouse lol...
any way, I’m glad everyone is having success and that someone in the industry is prepared logistically, and stocked before they freaking make a product go live. Even with the beast sticks, I don’t understand. Why not work out ALL The bugs from moving productions to China, getting all the parts, fixing e-commerce issues, the list goes on for a lot of companies... I think they should be more like TL and have shipping containers full of products, then make the commercially available. I know this is hard for start up companies, but it’s either play with the big dogs, or get bit by the big dogs.
