Trophyline Ambush Lite

Might have got sent to your spam or something. Mine did.

As far as size, I would say at 35" you'd be better off with a M/L. The aerohunter saddles run small in my mind, and the TL is a little roomy. How bulky is your cold weather gear?

But, they have a 30 day return/exchange period if you don't like the fit.

Didn't you say your a 34" waist in the video you posted and that you had a L/XL trophyline?

Yep. I ordered large because of my experience with aerohunter. It works, but it's big. I'm waiting on them to send me the smaller size, but I'm confident it'll be a better fit.

Put it this way, @Jefferson10940 has me by quite a few McDoubles and Beefy 5 layer Burritos. He wears a L/XL, and said I was crazy for ordering one.

I didn’t get an email either. I wasn’t planning on purchasing so it was ok but I did sign up for the alert. I’m kind of glad I didn’t get the email. Being on team 8 I really need an eighth saddle. Not really but in the off season I am going to outfit at least three of them for hunt type/climbing system specific gear.

Hmmm. This is my first saddle and I based my size choice on your video. I'm a 34" waist but hunt in the NE, quite often in heavy/bulky clothes. Hopefully it's not TOO big.

I"m hunting out of the old TL ambush large...and its huge, even bigger I belive than the new one. I too am around a 34" waist. It is manageable and I find it more comfortable than my kestrel sz1 was(which was too small)

Sounds like they will exchange it though it its not the right size for ya?

Yes, sounds like they will exchange, but would rather not have to do that if I don't have to.

On a side note, my order was #1172, placed around 9:00 this morning, just got a shipping notification. Crazy fast!

Try it out and see how you feel. Two folks with the same waist size can prefer different fits. If you don't like it, tell them you wanna swap. I believe you have 30 days.

I apologize for any inconvenience I personally caused. I will do a side by side comparision once I have the L/XL and M/L. Probably show it next to a size 2 kite for reference.

Don't apologize, I wasn't placing blame, sorry if it came across that way.

I am a borderline 34" waist and like I said often hunt in heavy clothes so it might be just the ticket.

Thanks for sharing!

I have 2 hunts in the big one in summer clothes. Too big isn't uncomfortable, just kinda unnecessary. You may love it.

how large are those modular vintage pouches?
If it's like the ones I have, not super big, but roomier than a dump pouch. I like them because they don't flop as much. I can put my 5 squirrels steps platform, treehopper drill and bolts, tether, bridge, and gear hanger in one pretty comfortably.

“Quite a few”. Jackass lol yeah I’m 250 and in a L/XL. And you might as well add 2 kegs of beer too

Not me I wasn't a big fan of the old TL . I already have 4 saddles so I don't need another one but that doesn't mean I won't buy another one. I am leaning towards a Kite with raptor buckles.

I wasn't a big fan of my original trophyline ambush. After several seasons of saddlehunting, I'd kinda like to revisit it and see if I feel the same way.

I love both of my kites. I also have been quite comfy in the new ambush. You're not going to go wrong with either option.
