Not sure if anyone has mentioned this yet but seems like trophyline keeps knocking products out of the park. I don’t carry a robust backpack anymore, but this one looks like a winner. Especially at the cost.

I have their CAYS 2.0, that I tried to carry sticks and a platform, which kind of sucked. The pockets are great and it’s quiet. But it has no frame, only a frame sheet. I know why companies pump out cheap frameless backpacks, because they’re cheap to make. But there is a world of difference in carrying 10-15 lbs of gear any distance in a framed vs unframed backpack.

You should give the sumpter a look, its a slightly larger cays with a light frame

What’s with the name and the obvious miss on camo opportunity? ITS IN THE NAME.

Looks too big to not have a frame and/or hip belt. All of their packs are too expensive for what you’re getting imo. The pop up 28 is routinely on camofire for like $180 and will carry better than any of trophyline’s stuff.

For the money, this is a workable pack. Put your platform pouch on the front, and the sticks on the side. Looks like is has very good orginization. I tend to like packs that don't have hip belts or they are removable, so this one checks that box. Also, I don't like how the pack narrows down at the bottom and is wide at the top. With a minimal amount more of material, TL could have made this pack the same width and depth all the way up and significantly boosting it's capacity, without adding much weight. I also prefer separate buckled straps on the front, bottom, and sides. Just my thoughts on it.
