If I didn't know any better, I would say Tuffhead and Sirius archery are merging or one bought the other. Tuffheads site is very generic with a "announcement coming soon" and if you click the company logo it redirects to the Sirius site. Anybody have the scoop?

I know they are very good friends and Seth isn’t stupid to see the meteoric rise of Ashby arrows take off due to the ranch fairy and science. So one day a guy had peanut butter and a guy had chocolate. I think his last name was Reese or something. Anyways…..If you are always wanting heavy arrows you obviously want heavy broad heads. So they can probably combine space and effort and ensure tuff head can make more and keep up with popular demand. Only makes sense in this industry. It’s what I run. I also have some 200g VPAs as well. I hope they do join forces. Saves on shipping and handling from one stop shop.

Man. Now I feel dirty running Sirius arrows with Grizzly Stik heads...... Am I allowed to do that? I think it's on par with a Hoyt rest on a Mathews. Or mixing your camouflage brands. I didn't think you could do that in archery.
But seriously I hope both parties are happy and they continue to do well. I'll check out the tuff heads when my Maasai's are worn out.

Speaking of which, I placed a pre-order on the 200gr evolutions in January. Still no sign of them. Anyone else get theirs?

I would get ahold of them maybe something got messed up in there system. I got mine a while ago. Think it was march or April when I got them.

Not a fan boy of any one company in any industry and I don’t buy marketing hype ever. But if there is an issue, look at the VPA single bevel. I have both tuff heads and the VPA 200g and they both are very very nice. I would go with either one.

Edit: I don’t see the 200g available on the Sirius website. (Yet). That seems strange as I was under the impression the test kits usually have a high percentage of arrows paper tune well with 200g field points or broad heads.

This explains why the response I got about the Arrafooters was so vague and the mention of the website being down after the 2nd. Hopefully it’s a good thing for all parties involved.
