Upgrade Plan

I have done a ton of research and keep coming back to Latitude Classic 2. I think this is a nice upgrade to my Tethrd Mantis (med), which I feel is too small for me. I just can't get the Mantis as comfortable as I think I should be able to; it is usable but I am never going to be able to be still in that thing I can tell :).

I don't ever plan to be an all-day sitter; my hangs will be 3 hrs max. I tend to be more of a minimalist and keep it simple stupid guy and I think this saddle fits the bill. I looked closely at some pleated saddles, but I think there is just more saddle material there than I really want right now and the cost is higher.

The Classic 2 seems to be a simple, feature packed saddle with a good reputation. It is on sale right now as well! It was between the Classic 2 and the CGM Sidewinder for me. I would appreciate any feedback on this plan as I'm still new to the saddle game. Are there other compatible saddles in the same price-point (sub $200) that I should check out?

Thanks!

The first 2 saddles I got where a phantom and a classic. I picked up an original classic for $140 when they where discontinuing them on there website since the phantom just felt too small. I don’t know that I’ll ever need another saddle other than that one. It’s comfortable for sitting and leaning, I don’t have to step into it after adding a biner to the bridge and it’s super light for wearing in. I don’t know that it’s a perfect saddle but you surely won’t be disappointed in one imo.
