Hello my father gave me a crossbow as a gift (he upgraded) and while I enjoy it I can’t hunt with it here in Florida during archery season. I was looking to maybe sell/trade it to help me purchase a compound bow so I could extend my hunting time.

It’s a ten point 6 point series maverick hp with the acu draw system. All strings replaced last year before hunting season. I have plenty of arrows and accessories that I can add but mainly looking to price the xbow

Here are some pictures

That’s an older crossbow, and 6 point was Tenpoint’s “budget” series. For a bow like that, if it is ready to shoot, I would expect that you could get $100 to $150. Maybe $200 at most if it’s minty. And that would be a local sale. I would not expect someone to pay those prices and also pay $40-80 shipping on top of that, there just not enough value there to justify the high shipping costs for crossbows. So I recommend you try to sell locally. Hope that helps. Good luck.

@Spartan

Thanks this is what I was thinking would be the case and dad doesn’t want me to sell for less than a certain price which I don’t think is realistic so I’ll just have to give it back to him and save for a bow myself.

You could check over at the Crossbow Nation forum. Someone may be interested. Unfortunately they don’t hold their value real well.

I hate to say it but I agree with the other replies. Xbows have turned into a speed/narrow axle-to-axle race, so the older bows don't have the same caché a recurve would have to regular archery guys. That said the first thing I saw was that the bow had a scope and accudraw, which might be interchangable with other Tenpoint xbows. So if it were me I'd try to sell it all, but if that didn't work I'd consider the ebay route for the components, where you would have smaller shipping costs and maybe top what you'd get selling the whole thing. If you call Tenpoint they may even send you the accudraw delete cover plates for free so you could sell the bow without.
