Trying out these arrow mounts now too that @Psomeone added

Pleasantly surprised by this arrow holder. I may print another one that will hold a dozen. The arrows snap in east and fit snug. CCD62125-D5EF-483F-9741-CC80271337A1.jpegE17DFA1A-F01E-4E03-8558-3B67F92AFF43.jpeg

Anyone here mocked up a trail camera mounting bracket and willing to share the .stl ? I’d love to just print a couple but I may have to model something up since I can’t find a file online. Genesis3dorinting has a couple simple ideas that look like they would work just fine.

My trail camera mount is just too simple to worry about printing a replacement. An eye bolt, eye lag, 3 washers, bolt, and 2 wing nuts.

Nice DIY I haven’t seen that done before! And that’s one serious battery pack.

After I posted I remembered I bought 6 of the hme screw in ones for like 2-3$ a piece on sale so I don’t need anymore per se. I Still need more stuff to print if you have ideas though.

All I’ve printed is a DIY solar battery pack. And that I just modeled up and paid for printing. I ended up preferring the battery only pack in the picture above, because the solar panel just couldn’t keep up with all the parasitic discharge of the camera and voltage regulator. This is the solar one below. I built 2, and had one of the battery cells fail in one. The other is still going strong 20 months later. Just have to charge it fully every now and then.

I have considered printing housings for the battery only cells at some point. I have also thought about doing lithium cell pouch batteries instead of the cylinder ones.

I am pretty proud of the sponge paint job, though.

I just finished up a release holster on my bow. Don't think this is a useful file because it isn't compatible with any other bow or release but couldn't help but share. I gotta brag my brother up, he's a genius with CAD, he brought it all to life.

So I've always wanted a dedicated place for my handheld release. The last couple seasons that's been in my bino harness but it's not easy access and my harness isn't always with my bow. That was especially annoying for just getting a couple shots in before a hunt.

We worked on a couple different designs first. Thought we would maybe try to print a latch but it ended up that the flex of the plastic worked awesome to hold it in place. I ended up putting a shock cord on just because. I don't think it would be needed.Screenshot_20230525_231828_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20230525_231854_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20230525_231909_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20230525_231921_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20230525_231942_Gallery.jpgScreenshot_20230525_231957_Gallery.jpg

I whipped up some quick clips to help manage the rope mod on my Hawk Helium sticks, as well as stow the aider to the bottom:

Hope they help someone else out!

These are the ones I've sold on etsy for a few years now, I've been considering on and off getting away from it and making the files available. It doesn't take a bunch of my time but the real job is at a point where small side hustle doesn't make as much sense as it used to.
