I got the army green and it’s great! All preference at that point the gray was my second choice!
 
Would this be something that you can wear the whole time while you are in the tree? Just thinking if its more trouble then it worth getting things by sliding it around rather than hanging it from the tree.
 
I don't wear mine the whole time in the tree. I use an amsteel SYS DIY to hang it from.

It’s preference at that point. Mine is plenty light enough after I’ve removed my platform. I like nothing restrictive on me if possible. It’s hangs easily and convenient from the tree. But it definitely could be worn while hunting.
 
I have done a ton of scouting with this pack now and I continue to love it. I have had it packed with water, cams, saddle and other stuff and also two hawk minis and it feels great even on long hikes. I don’t even feel it. Two minis fit with the outside strap very well.
 
Darn you guys did it again....convinced me to buy another saddle hunting item I probably dont need. Your all enabling me, that one push of a button on Ebay and PayPal is a problem!!!

It's an addiction man, clicking that PayPal button feels like that first hit of the day, and like that first hit it usually leaves you disappointed feeling for a bit.

For 25 it's a damn good pack, and even if it doesn't work for saddle hunting for you, I bet you'll find some use for it
 
Thanks for the heads up on this. This is exactly what I was looking for! I hunt private property on a lease. So most of my walk ins are shortish. I bring deer out whole, so no need to be able to pack heavy. I just drag it to the closest passable opening and drive my Tacoma hunting rig right up to it.
Last year I used lock ons, climbers, and multiple stick saddle hunting. This year I will still use all methods but I added one sticking to the mix.
This pack will enable me to use it for all climbing situations. I don’t use my climber often but when I do it’s a pain to carry a pack. This will just rotate to my front with my climber on my back.
Long story short: I like options.
 
I’ve been carrying this (paid full price…) for over a year as my EDC. Laptop fits nicely. I also used for hunting but single strap got heavy on one shoulder. Either I need to lighten the load or they need to make it ambidextrous so you can switch shoulders for long walks. Overall, I love this pack and would highly recommend it.
