In my quest to discover more meat and meals out of a deer, I arrive at the tongue. This was my first tongue to ever cook. It looks alien at first but I can tell you this thing taste amazing. It's tender and flavorful. I had heard it was a fatty cut and that is true. My hands were greasy after handling the peeled tongue. That fat gives it a delicious flavor. Once prepared the weirdness fades away and the taste blew my mind. I highly recommend saving and cooking your tongues. If you don't want them, vac-seal then freeze them and mail them to me
